P.1 Free Agent
a. A free agent is any player not on a TDL roster after the UFAA has completed.
b. Once a player is dropped from a roster he is locked until the next waivers process.
c. If he goes unclaimed in BBW, he will be available on a FCFS basis like all other free agents.
P.2 Blind Bid Waivers (BBW)
a. In-season BBW will start Monday nights at 8pm CST, until Wednesday night at 9pm CST. During the off-season, waivers will be Friday through Friday. See calendar.
b. All in-season waiver pickups will get a 1 year contract only!
c. Tie breaker for teams that placed the same bid will be the team with the least VP's, then least total points then lowest power rank.
d. The minimum bid for BBW is 1GP. All additional bids must be in increments of 1GP.
e. MFL uses conditional waivers, so if you want to bid on more than 1 player, then you must create additional "rounds". 3 players, will require 3 rounds. 1 player, requires 1 round. If you don't know how MFL does conditional BBW please email the commish privately.
f. For clarity, off-season BBW can be given a multi-year deal and In-season BBW can only have a 1 year deal.
g. BBW ties will be decided based on the following: Off-Season BBW ties will determined by the House that placing the bid first. In-season tie breakers will be (1) least VP's (2) worst winning % (3) least total points (4) worst power rank.
Additional Note: Because off-season contract status does not need to be determined until Aug. 15th, these players will have 0 year contracts and thusly the opportunity to assign a multiyear deal at deadline. Even though they have 0 year contracts until they are assigned, if you decide to release an off-season BBW player with a 0 year contract you will still incur a GP penalty as if he had a 1 year deal.
P.3 First Come First Served Waivers (FCFS)
a. FCFS waivers are weekly waivers for players that are FA's whom did not receive a weekly blind bid.
b. These players are available on a FCFS basis and cost 0 GP to acquire.
c. FCFS waivers open at 9:15pm CST on Wednesday and close at 7:45pm CST on Monday's.
d. Players from any games that have already started will be locked at kickoff of their game and will not be eligible to be picked up until BBW the following week.
Additional note: Because contract status does not need to be determined until Aug. 15th, these players will have 0 year contracts and thusly the opportunity to assign a multiyear deal at deadline.
