V.1 Trades
a. Trades involving future draft picks are not official until a $50 non-refundable trade deposit, is received by the commissioner, by the team that is giving up the future considerations. This trade deposit must be paypal'd to the commish within 24 hours of the trade being accepted, otherwise the commish will reject it. b. Each team can trade picks up to 2 years into the future. If a team trades any pick 2 years away, they must pay for 100% of the next season plus the $50 trade deposit for the season 2 years from now. IE: The current season is 2014. Team A trades their 2016 1st round pick. Team A would then owe $105 for 2015 and $50 for 2016. c. ALL TRADE DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. In the above example, if Team A wanted to walk away from the league before the 2015 season, they may do so but they will be forfeiting their entire 2015 fee and their 2016 trade deposit. Rule of thumb: any monies paid due to trades are non-refundable. d. Trades are allowed up until Saturday at 10pm CST and re-open after MNF. Trades involving any player that has already played that week will not be processed until the following week. e. During the off-season, trading will close during the RFAA and the UFAA. In-season trading is allowed from week 1 through week 11. Trading will then commence on February 8th of the new league year. f. Promises and/or comments involving future actions by one or both parties included in trades will not be enforceable and the promise to do something in the future cannot be traded. Trades involving compensation based on future performance (ie. I will give you a 2nd round pick if Jared Cook finishes top 10 at his position but only a 3rd round pick if he doesn't) will not be allowed.
V.2 Unfair Trades
a. This is supposed to be fun. As the commissioner, I will allow owners to run their team as they see fit. No trade will be vetoed unless collusion is questioned. b. If a team in the league has an issue with a trade, please email the commish privately. It will be up to the discretion of the commish to start a poll to veto a trade, in which 75% approval from the league is required. c. Collusion will not be tolerated. If proven, it will lead to expulsion from the league with all monies forfeited.
